Urban data management in Africa (MOOC)
The program aims to equip learners with the skills and competencies needed to design, implement and monitor smart city strategies in emerging African cities. It will enable participants to address the challenges of the need to use integration relative to the African context, of the different pillars of smart cities such as digital transition, connectivity, AI, digital governance, open data, etc.
This program offers eight (08) modules (including the professional project) in hybrid mode (face-to-face or distance) and 1 module to choose from 3 floating modules completely online in the form of MOOC. The professional project in hybrid mode and mandatory will consolidate the knowledge acquired and put it into practice in a real project on the African continent. Obtaining the diploma is conditioned by the completion and validation of all eight compulsory modules, the professional project and at least one module among the three floating modules. The validation of each module is sanctioned by a Certificate of Completion.
The pedagogical approach adopted for the Executive Master in Smart Cities Strategies in Africa is based on the transmission of a double competence. It combines the transmission and acquisition of the necessary scientific, technical and managerial knowledge, and their practical application in real field projects across the continent.
