The courses of this master program are:
Disciplinary modules
M1 : Steel and Cast Iron
M2 : Elaboration and Metallurgy of Steel
M3 : Methods of Characterization and Quality Control of Materials
Complementary modules
The selection of 3 complementary modules is mandatory for the diploma to be validated:
MC 1 : Circular economy and energy MC 2 : Managing innovation, introduction to design thinking and prototyping MC 3 : E-mobility MC 4 : Technology transfer and entrepreneurship MC 5 : Material Characterization MC 6 : Surface characterization technologies MC 7 : Surface coating
The training is based on the internationally recognized skills of the ARC-metallurgy laboratory of the MSN department. This course offers the participants of this executive master to deepen their knowledge in steels, cast iron, industrial manufacturing processes, as well as the techniques of analysis and quality control of these materials.
The program consists of 7 modules, 3 of which are disciplinary and 3 of which are complementary to be chosen by the candidates. Module 7 is a graduation project that is to be realized by the candidate and supervised by an expert in the given field (based on the candidate's recommendation and that of the training supervisors), With the various modules offered, this course will allow participants to acquire or deepen the fundamentals of metallurgy both theoretical and practical, in chemistry, physics, process engineering but also in the use of advanced digital tools, in order to meet the various economic and strategic challenges of Morocco. The teaching of this course is provided by professors, researchers and industrialists attached to the department.
This course will also allow participants to acquire various skills directly related to the field of metallurgy, such as the exploitation of phase diagrams or transformations (TTT and TRC), rolling techniques, heat treatments and their impact on the microstructure of steels, or the standards and codes in force in metallurgy.
The program is open to engineers, graduates with a scientific Master's degree, and company executives and production unit managers.
