The EMEC program provides comprehensive training to address the current needs of the Moroccan mining sector. It covers essential topics such as circular economy, sustainable resource management, climate change, environmental regulations, certification, and CSR. Participants will acquire the skills necessary to lead eco-innovative projects while adhering to environmental and social standards.
The program's courses cover various areas, from designing and managing mining waste storage structures to water and energy management in mines. Participants will also explore integrated waste management and valorization, as well as advanced topics like geo-metallurgy, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). Field visits enrich the experience by allowing participants to observe mining industry practices firsthand.
The Executive Master's program offers a holistic approach, structured into 8 modules of 30 hours each. It combines theoretical courses, in-depth case studies, and field visits, with an average frequency of one week every four weeks throughout the academic year 2024/2025. Additionally, a final "Learning Expedition" module in Canada is included to refine the expertise gained by the learners. Participants will have the opportunity to attend conferences led by experts and industry leaders, providing in-depth expertise and essential skills for key players in the mining sector.
