Steel: Manufacturing Process and Quality Control

Educational Background: Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or an equivalent field. No prior professional experience is required.
Language of Instruction: The course is delivered in French, with an English version available upon request.

This intensive 4-day program is designed for professionals looking to enhance their expertise in steel production and quality control. It combines theoretical and practical training to provide a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes as well as analysis and evaluation techniques for steel. Key topics covered include:

Fundamentals of Steel Metallurgy: Composition, properties, and applications.
Steel Standards and Quality Criteria: Understanding industry regulations and requirements.
Visit to a Steel Production Plant (Flat or Long Products): The educational objective is to grasp the entire production chain, from the scrap yard to steelmaking, continuous casting, rolling, coatings, and final heat treatments.
Modern Quality Control Techniques: Chemical composition analysis, mechanical testing, microstructural analyses, and non-destructive testing (NDT). This module includes a visit to a certified steel analysis center.

This training program is tailored to meet the needs of professionals in industrial, technical, and scientific sectors, equipping them with the tools and methodologies necessary to ensure product quality and optimize manufacturing processes. The course, delivered interactively by field experts, includes practical case studies adapted to the Moroccan industrial context, as well as on-site visits.
