Pr. Taha YASSINE - Assistant Professor (HDR)
Assistant Professor at UM6P since September 2017, with over 10 years of experience in the management and valorization of mining residues for various extractive industries. He currently leads the Sustainability & Mining Environment division within the Geology and Sustainable Mining Institute (GSMI). Prof. Taha has published more than 75 peer-reviewed scientific articles in highly recognized journals and has participated in numerous international conferences. His research focuses on sustainability, circular economy, management and valorization of mining residues, reuse, recycling, recovery, low-grade ore beneficiation, life cycle analysis, and construction materials.
Pr. Rachid HAKKOU - Professor of Industrial Chemistry and Mining Environment, Cadi Ayyad University - FST Marrakech, Affiliate of GSMI-UM6P
PhD in Geosciences and Raw Materials from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (France) and holder of a State Doctorate in Waste Management and Treatment from Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech (Morocco). With over 110 published articles and presidency of three international congresses, he was awarded the Hassan II Prize for the Environment in 2015 and the David Hopper Prize for his globally recognized achievements.
